The PDF document is 877 kb, while the other 2 are around 400 kb. It will take a little while for you to get the online journal open, and also a little while to download the pdf and word documents if you have a slower-speed internet.

Here are some more PDF files, which are copies from a newspaper called the Millennial Star. They contain references to George Mayer's work on his mission to Germany and Switzerland. Usually no more than a line or two, but it still contains some information about him. The fifth page mentions how he healed a woman who had been sick her whole life. A couple of the other pages mention some small events in his mission. In the 4th page, it includes mentions of him under both 'Switzerland' and 'Germany' when most of the pages have mentions of him mostly under Germany. I'll try to find out to what exact page of the journal you can connect these newspaper references to, but in the meantime this extra info is kind of nice.

Here's the history of Rachel Ann Mayer Brimhall. She was the daughter of George Mayer, later married George Brimhall and her son was George H. Brimhall who later became one of the presidents of Brigham Young University. It's a rather short journal compared to the journal of George Mayer.
